If you are suffering in silence, please know that there is hope.
Mental illness can take our hope away by trapping us in destructive thought patterns: we assume that we already know how the future will unfold, imagine the worst case scenario, and believe that nothing will ever change no matter what we do.
Challenge that thought.
Change is possible.
When you're open to the possibility of change, the possibility of a better future, you set foot on a new path. Open up to possibilities.
There is hope.
We created this message to honor the International Day of Sign Languages.
Many of us who battle with a mental illness suffer alone in silence. It's terrifying to speak up and ask for help. However, the warning signs of mental illness and suicidal thoughts are there, if you know what to look for. So we used the American sign language to spell HOPE, to symbolizing the silent suffering and the subtle yet evident cries for help.
This design only comes in black, representing the darkness we're in; the letters in neon-like bright colors represent the light and hope.
10% of proceeds goes to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.
